Fiano di Avellino DOCGFiano di Avellino is produced from the grape of the same name, formerly called Vitis Apicia, whose name derives from the grape's ability to attract swarms of bees, given its sweet scent. It was the Greeks who brought the original Fiano grape to Italy.
